Went here with a party of 9. We made reservations so we were seated pretty quickly. We ordered 2 pu-pu platters which came out fast. The presentation with the fire in the middle was cool. Their dumplings (steamed and fried) were tasty. The fried dumplings were veryyyy greasy, but it was still good. After living in VA, CA, and GA, coming here and seeing a Kosher Chinese restaurant is unique and different. Definitely got a bunch of stares from others because my family is not Jewish, but we weren't surprised and still had a pleasant experience. The service was quick and we got our food fast. Very flavorful food and tasty dessert. Their food and dessert menu is pretty large so there is a lot to choose from. Be sure to check in on Yelp because you get a free classic roll of sushi!

I had a meeting with an orthodox Jewish man and he recommended this place for lunch as it's "the best kosher Chinese restaurant in the city". I can't have an opinion on this claim as I'm pretty sure this is the only kosher Chinese restaurant I've been to anywhere. I started with the lamb shanks which were incredibly flavorful. For my entre I had the hunan salad which was great as well. The service was good, food was delicious, the restaurant didn't feel very clean is my only criticism
The food was fresh. We had 2 dishes with rice: one with Chicken and eggplant that was moist and mouthwatering. The one with beef seemed hard to chew and grizzly. I also had the sushi: one was the onion which I thought would be more like and onion ring taste. The other was Papaya. I liked the variety of the menu. The waiter was pleasant. The hostess was constantly on the phone and we had to wait. I was confused on the bill. we got the base price than the tax was placed than the 18% was on without asking. Was the server deserving this amount? I normally give 15% and with a table of 3 I don't know why it was automatically placed with No Notification on the menu. It also bothered me that the tip already had the ADDED TAX. Is this legal? to tip on tax???
Incredible service and incredible food. Sushi was excellent and the dumplings were out of this world! My friend is now addicted to China Glatt beef dumplings
